And now a little about me, the photographer:

My name is Angela Ray and  I was born in Usingen, Germany, in June of 1975

When I was little, my father first kindled my love for photography when he gave me an old Polaroid which I used to take pictures of everyone and everything. From there, the rest is, as they say, history.

In 2002, I moved from Germany to Vienna, Austria and began working at a leading European entertainment magazine. While there, I had the great fortune of working under the magazine's photographer. This is when I began to see photography as more than just a hobby.

As time moved -- so did I and in 2003, I moved to Limerick, Ireland. My time in Ireland was a growing period for me as I was able to make the transition to career photographer. I covered several cultural events such as MEAS (Mature Enjoyment of Alcohol and Society) as well as promotional photography for Daghdha Dance Company.

In 2005, I moved to Atlanta, Georgia and have since become a wife, mother and Permanent Resident. I spent much of the time during the Green Card process studying and refining my skills in Photoshop as well as taking classes lead by some of the world's top photographers, like Simon Stafford and John H. Siskin.

I'm looking forward to working with you and your family to create memories that last a lifetime.
